MONTANA CAP - FLAT JET WIDE RED/BLACK

Montana FLAT JET WIDE Cap is a wide flat-jet spray cap designed to create broad, rectangular spray patterns for fast and controlled coverage.

Unlike round caps, the Flat Jet produces a flat fan-shaped spray, making it especially useful for filling larger areas, creating clean broad strokes and applying paint more evenly across surfaces.

SPRAY WIDTH

Approx. 10 cm – 15 cm

The spray width changes depending on your distance from the surface:

Closer = narrower, more concentrated spray
Further away = wider, softer spray

Because this is a Flat Jet cap, it creates a wide fan-shaped pattern rather than a round line.

The exact width may vary depending on the spray can, pressure, spraying distance and technique.

ADJUSTABLE SPRAY DIRECTION

One of the main advantages of the Flat Jet cap is that the nozzle can be rotated to change the direction of the spray pattern.

Horizontal position = horizontal fan spray
Vertical position = vertical fan spray

This makes it easier to adapt the spray direction to the shape and area you’re painting.

HOW TO USE

1. Remove the existing cap from your compatible spray can.
2. Press the FLAT JET WIDE Cap firmly onto the valve stem.
3. Rotate the nozzle to choose your preferred spray direction.
4. Test spray on a spare surface before starting.
5. Hold the can closer for a more concentrated spray or further away for wider coverage.
6. Use smooth, continuous passes for an even application.
7. Slightly overlap each pass when covering larger areas.
8. Remove and clean the cap after use when necessary to help prevent clogging.

Tip: Rotate the nozzle before you start painting to match the direction of your movement. A vertical fan works well when moving side-to-side, while a horizontal fan can be useful when moving up and down.
