MONTANA CAP - FLAT JET MEDIUM BLACK/YELLOW

Montana FLAT JET MEDIUM Cap is a medium-width flat spray cap designed to create clean, controlled fan-shaped lines.

Unlike traditional round caps, it produces a flat, rectangular spray pattern that can be rotated to change the direction of the spray. This makes it especially useful for lettering, calligraphy-style strokes, edges, shapes and controlled coverage.

SPRAY WIDTH

The spray width changes depending on your distance from the surface:

Closer = narrower, more defined spray
Further away = wider, softer spray

Because this is a Flat Jet cap, the output is fan-shaped rather than round.

Actual spray width may vary depending on the spray can, pressure, distance and spraying technique.

ADJUSTABLE SPRAY DIRECTION

The nozzle can be rotated to change the orientation of the flat spray:

Horizontal position = horizontal fan spray
Vertical position = vertical fan spray

You can also rotate it between these positions to create angled strokes.

HOW TO USE

1. Remove the existing cap from your compatible spray can.
2. Press the FLAT JET MEDIUM Cap firmly onto the valve stem.
3. Rotate the nozzle to choose the direction of the spray.
4. Test spray on a spare surface before starting.
5. Move closer for a narrower, more defined stroke or further away for a wider effect.
6. Keep your movement smooth and consistent for cleaner lines.
7. Rotate the nozzle when you want to change the direction or character of your strokes.
8. Remove and clean the cap after use when necessary to help prevent clogging.

Tip: Try rotating the nozzle at different angles. The flat spray pattern can create very different strokes depending on its orientation, making this cap especially useful for lettering and graphic work.

IMPORTANT TO KNOW

The FLAT JET MEDIUM produces a flat fan-shaped spray rather than the circular output of a standard cap. This makes it better for structured strokes and controlled coverage, but it will feel different if you’re used to traditional round caps.
